Prada F/W2015 leather jacket black

This Prada F/W2015 leather jacket puts a prim round collar on tough black leather, and only Miuccia Prada would think that’s a good idea. She’s right. We had it pegged as early 2000s. The cut said so, and so did the silver hardware. We were off by more than ten years. It’s Fall/Winter 2015, the collection she titled Soft Pop and built on neat sixties shapes. Just over a decade old and already passing for archive. Delicious. That runway ran on pink, acid green and orange. This jacket keeps the sixties cut and leaves the candy behind. The front is pieced in panels, with seams that draw a grid across the chest. A silver two-way zipper runs up the middle. Two slanted pockets, buttoned cuffs, a cropped and boxy fit. Polite collar. Impolite leather.
