This Christian Dior Trotter medium Malice bag comes in the original brown colorway of Marc Bohan’s 1967 monogram, the print Galliano kept alive decades later when he built the Malice silhouette around it. A gold half-moon plaque sits on the front flap, doing the same job the CD initials do everywhere else in the archive, just quieter about it. Tan vachetta trims the strap and edges, warming up all that brown canvas instead of contrasting against it. It reads more classic than the beaded or patent Malice versions, closer to something you’d actually reach for daily. We think brown Trotter is the colorway that ages best out of the whole Malice range, it never looked trendy to begin with.
