This Christian Dior Pre-Fall2001 houndstooth wool shift dress captures John Galliano’s playful take on the Duchess of Windsor’s English wardrobe. Houndstooth, part of the house vocabulary since 1947, is knitted here in black, grey and cream wool and cut as a sixties shift with short sleeves and a round neck.
