Chanel S/S1989 safari jacket pink silk-linen

This Chanel S/S1989 safari jacket takes one of the house’s oldest rules on holiday. Coco Chanel wanted four working pockets on her jackets, with room for keys, a lipstick and the occasional cigarette. Here all four come in soft pink silk linen, each one closed with a gold button. A band pulls in the waist, and below it the front splits into two rounded panels. Safari jackets usually come in khaki, which is fine if you’re off to see lions.
