The Chanel CC Filigree vanity case in red quilted caviar leather with gold hardware. A vanity case is technically for powder and lipstick, a leftover from an era when women traveled with a separate bag for their face. Chanel kept the shape, dropped the powder puff, and somehow ended up with one of the most covetable small bags in the current lineup. We are still not entirely sure how that happened. The oversized CC in filigree stitching covers the entire front panel. Red on red on red. Gold chain strap with leather weave, top handle. A bag that has absolutely no interest in going unnoticed.
