Cartier Love ring white gold with diamond size 50

Designed by Aldo Cipullo for Cartier in 1969, the Love bracelet was conceived as a bond meant to be fastened onto someone else, closed only by the tiny screwdriver that came with it. The ring followed in miniature, the same eight screw motifs circling the band, a construction detail that has since become one of fine jewelry’s most recognizable silhouettes without ever needing a visible logo. This is the classic model, 18K yellow gold, 5.5mm wide, left bare of any stone. We think that bareness is closer to what Cipullo actually intended, before the collection expanded into pavé and diamonds. Immediately identifiable and unchanged in spirit since 1969, the Love ring remains one of the rare Cartier pieces that carries the house’s full weight through shape alone. It stacks against other bands without a fight, or wears alone and still reads as Cartier from across the room. Comes with its original Cartier certificate and the original red box. Very good condition, no scratches on the gold, screw details still sharp.
