Demna introduced this Balenciaga Blanket bag in his Spring/Summer 2017 collection, taking the look of a household comforter and selling it as a luxury handbag. The peony print is almost painterly: deep reds and greys bleeding into a warm orange-red base. The mustard yellow trim continues into a twisted rope handle in the same shade, set off by silver hardware and a zip closure. A detachable shoulder strap is included.
