The Archive by Luxeparel is open.
You know the feeling. You spot an archival Roberto Cavalli printed in feathers and earth tones, or a Galliano dress that looks like it walked straight off a SS2003 runway, and something in your brain short-circuits. You do the math. You do it again. You close the tab. You reopen the tab. You close it again.
Or worse, you actually buy it. You spend what feels like a small fortune on something you wear to one wedding, one birthday dinner, one night out where you felt genuinely, completely yourself. And then it hangs there. Beautiful. Unworn. Quietly judging you every time you open your wardrobe.
We’ve been watching this happen for years at Luxeparel. People come in, they fall in love with a piece, and then they either walk away because the price tag makes their stomach drop, or they take it home and wear it exactly once. Neither feels right.
So we built something different.

Introducing The Archive.
The Archive is Luxeparel’s rental collection. Think Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Mugler, Christian Dior, Blumarine, Roberto Cavalli. Available to rent for a fraction of what you’d pay to own them. Wear it to your event. Return it. We take care of the rest.
This isn’t a capsule wardrobe subscription or a rotating rack of safe cocktail dresses. This is our actual archive. Pieces we hunted down and fell in love with ourselves. A Saint Laurent red latex midi dress. A Christian Dior lilac blazer set from 1997. A Moschino Couture floral gown that turns heads before you’ve even walked into the room. Sixteen pieces to start, each one chosen because it deserves to be worn, not stored.

How The Archive works is almost offensively simple.
Browse the collection on our website, pick your piece, choose your dates, and come pick it up at the boutique on Mechelsesteenweg. We’ll have it cleaned, pressed and ready. Wear it. Bring it back. We handle the dry cleaning, no matter what happened that night. That’s it.
No subscription. No monthly commitment. No guilt about something sitting in your wardrobe.
Why The Archive?
Partly because we’re tired of beautiful things not being worn. There’s something deeply wrong about a 1994 Dolce & Gabbana brown velvet gown sitting in storage when someone, somewhere, has the perfect occasion for it tonight.
But also because access to fashion has always been about money in a way that feels increasingly outdated. The Antwerp Six changed how the world thinks about design. Belgian fashion has always had something to say. We want more people to be part of that conversation, not just the ones who can afford to buy their way in.
Renting from The Archive isn’t a compromise. It’s actually the smarter choice. You get the real thing, the archival piece, the story behind the label, without the pressure of owning something forever. Some pieces are meant to be worn to one specific moment and then released back into the world to find their next one.
A note on The Archive collection.
Every piece in The Archive has been hand-selected, authenticated, and professionally cleaned between rentals. We photograph each item before and after, so there’s full transparency about what you’re receiving. If something concerns you, fit, condition, what to wear it with, come into the store. We know these pieces. We can style you. The Archive lives at luxeparel.be. We’re adding pieces regularly as we build this out.
If you’ve been waiting for a sign to finally wear something extraordinary, this is it.
Come find us on Mechelsesteenweg. Tuesday through Saturday, 11am to 6pm, and the first Sunday of every month.
The Archive is open. The Cavalli is waiting.
