Christian Dior Egyptian Revival bracelet 2004

sku: 4914
A Christian Dior bracelet from 2004, John Galliano’s Egyptian Revival collection distilled into a single cuff: a carved turquoise scarab set in worked gold, flanked by rough turquoise cabochons on either side. Galliano built this collection the way he built most of his Dior years, take a whole civilization’s visual language and pour it straight onto the runway. This is one of the smaller, wearable pieces that came out of it.
